Schwarzwaldschon in Staufen

It's nice that you get a cappuccino and a piece of cake to take away when you stroll through Staufen, even on Sundays during the lockdown. The cappuccino is only middle class, probably made with normal coffee instead of espresso.

Despite Corona in October, still great service and got a place without a reservation

Smart design that I personally like very much. Bright, playful, old and modern. Not exactly typical. Cakes are delicious to look at and also taste very good. Smaller dishes are offered. You can also sit outside. Service friendly and courteous. And delicacies are offered.

The best Black Forest cherry cake!

We went here for brunch today and really loved it! Especially in the current time around the Corona Virus everything is well organized, breakfast is lovingly prepared in small glasses and tastes really excellent. The staff was always friendly and we really liked the atmosphere. We'd love to come back :-)

Spontaneous and unplanned visit because of the bleak weather. What a cake selection! A light dining room decorated with trendy black forest items. Young and very nice service staff. Well-being factor very high and therefore a recommendation!

Very nice cafe in Staufen for indoor and outdoor sitting. Delicious drinks, great cake buffet, breakfast with a large selection and a small menu. Simply very cozy and to linger. You always like to come back. Meggi Meier from Kerpen.

An absolute cheek! Never again! Asked if you can have the children's plate as an adult. According to service, yes. So ordered. Then there was an absolute mini-portion that not even a child will be satisfied with. When the bill came, I was allowed to pay the senior portion, which was 5 euros more expensive, despite previous questions. Even the operator showed no concession. Well ... I was there for the last time. But seriously ... for this mini portion, the price is an absolute joke!

The food is delicious but has absolutely no relation to the price. It is way too expensive for what is on offer. If you pay over 11 € for a sausage salad with fried potatoes, which is 4 bites empty, then in my opinion that is very outrageous. For the price, I expect a lot more both in terms of taste and the size of the portion. The staff is sometimes a bit overwhelmed.

Very modern place. Also very nice and courteous staff. Prices seem a bit high to me, but the quality of the dishes is also right. I can definitely recommend the place.

Very inhumane! We were there for breakfast (June 21st) and were treated very insolently by the waitress. First we were chased away from our table, for reasons incomprehensible to me and in the search for a new one we reacted with eyes rolls and sighed. Just like with every order or asking about the invoice. If you don't like working with people, then the job may not be the right one! In addition, the price-performance ratio is not correct at all.

A cafe in a sunny corner of the beautiful square of Staufen. Lovely food and very friendly staff most of whom speak English. Always busy so you might have to wait for a table but it is worth the wait.

Nice beer, great location. Staff speak a little English and very pleasant but speaking German an advantage.

Pastry shop and shop next to the Staufen town hall. You can order breakfasts too. It is a spacious, bright and pleasant space where you can sit down to have a drink after a walk through the city and vineyards. Ideal for the whole family. It has tables of different sizes. The staff is attentive and friendly.
